Vale Mike Connell

South Australian photographers were shocked to hear of the passing of Mike Connell, in late April.

Mike was partnered with Drew Lenman in Orange Lane Studios, a power house of commercial photography here in SA with clients the scale of Mitsubishi. Orange Lane was also the conduit for a large percentage of the current highly sought after commercial shooters as they had a strong assistant program. They not only photographed the best, they produced the best photographers.

Mike was well loved and respoected, the wake held at the Norwood Hotel, adjacent to their studio location, was packed with former staff and industry friends.
