AIPP Professional Photography Award judging starts this Sunday.
Starting this Sunday, the AIPP are holding their SAPPA judging. The Epson South Australian Professional Photography Awards is a public judging over three days of several hundred prints from all different genres of photography. The prints are judged by a panel of 5 who's average score places the print in Silver or Gold category with the chance of distinctions in each. Each image is carefully judged and most receive comments and attract debate.
The judging should be live streamed via "LiveStream", and the url will be broadcast once the judging is underway. Keep an eye out on the AIPP Facebook page for details.
The new category, Contemporary Photographic Art is being judged in a different format on Sunday at Dunstan Hall, Norwood Primary School, across the road from the Norwood Hotel. The AIPP will be setting up a gallery and all ten entrants' work will hang and be judged publicly by both artists and APPA judges. This category is an experiment, and promises to be very exciting. Unfortunately it will not be streamed.
Here is the current timing for judging, it may change, but keep an eye on the Blog and Facebook page for details.
