Last night (Tuesday 28/10/08) the SA branch of the PMA (Photo Marketing Association) held an evening at AtkinsTechnicolour. Richard (Robbo) Robinson from Teds Camera flew over from Melbourne to talk about running a photo based business in the current economic climate. Richard was candid with his presentation and had the audience riveted and laughing at the same time.
62 people turned up for the evening which included beer and pizza, 62 is an Australian record for these "roadshows". Let us please see more of them!
John and Paul Atkins both believe the only way to survive difficult times is to keep your eyes on your business and put effort into improving what you do and how you do it. The Atkins family strongly support industry associations because they help members work on themselves and their businesses, "you can win just about any battle if you group together for the fight" - John Atkins
Thanks to Alan Logue for russling up the attendees, and providing the photo (can he please come and pick up his camera before we ebay it).
