A couple of weeks ago I visited Simon Vaughan at Silverback studios (formerly Blink) and stepped in the middle of a food shoot (donuts flying) and I must say that I have not felt such a postive buzz in a commercial studio for a while. I recon what makes a commercial studio fresh is the cooperation that comes from creative equals working closely. I am sure all of you creative types would know that working alone can really inhibit your talent, sharing ideas helps you to grow more quickly and interestingly.
As it turns out, you can rent space, by the hour, at Silverback studios, at a very resonable rate. What a great opportunity to use a top space and be there in the buzz!
Here is a press release from Simon at Silverback:
"One of Adelaide's leading freelance photographic studios for over a decade has been transformed. The studios formally known as Blink have a new identity and structure under the management of Simon Vaughan, a resident of the studio since it's beginning. Located in Percy Court between Gilbert Street and South Terrace; and 5 minutes walk to the central market; Silverback studios offer 2 large cycloramas with complete privacy for professional and budding photographers alike. The relaxed warehouse space has a great vibe with all the facilities needed to produce almost any shoot, with hire rates that are extremely competative. Visit www.silverback.net.au for more information or call Simon on 8410 5960 to arrange a tour."
