Reflections. Reflections is a project instigated by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography to photograph all of the surviving World War Two veterans. The project was began in April 2015, and continues throughout 2016. AIPP members approach registered veterans in their homes and make a portrait, the style is to be identical between subjects and the resulting collection of images, now numbering beyond 5000, is being donated to the National War Memorial in Canberra. Each veteran also receives a 5x7inch print which Atkins prints for free and Kodak supplies the paper to the project.

Here in SA, 100 images were selected out of the 1000+ SA resident veterans to be printed at 50x75cm and mounted and hung for an exhibition called "Wish Me Luck", which is hanging July to September 2016 as part of the Centenary of ANZAC commemorations. Atkins donated their time in art working and preparing these exhibition prints. To read more about this, click here.
